Can you help us out?

The Thames Sailing Club Committee has agreed to instigate a roster system to rustle up helpers and spread the workload of the club.

We are looking for people to put their hands up to assist with things like:
· Time keepers
· Patrol boat crew
· Tower Crew
· Shore assistance
· Tea and coffee and bbq operations

We are needing at least three people each race day (every second Sunday) and training day (every second Saturday) to assist in centreboard racing.

Centreboard racing is at Tararu (at the clubrooms) so nice and local and is very tide dependent as to when racing takes place - Please refer to our Summer Centreboard Series on the website  for details.
The season has started and we have 12 more weekends to go from this weekend (the 25th Oct). If you can lend some time to help us in raising the next sailors, we'd be very grateful. You don't need any experience as training can be provided for:

Race Officer Responsibilities
We are currently gauging interest in "Patrol Boat Operation" training that will ensure our operators meet certain industry standards. It will be a great feather in any boatie's hat, so if you are keen to strengthen your own set of skills while being a great help to the club, please also let us know.
